Shah's Halal Food - Danbury

To Start I Must Say I Have Been Looking For a Great Halal Food Spot For Years Here In Connecticut and to My Surprise I Finally Found This Chain Restaurant Here In Danbury That Recently Opened. I ordered the Lamb over Rice and Chicken Over Rice For Me and My Girlfriend and For My Daughter I Got The Nuggets and Fries and Also a Philly CheeseSteak Sandwich. The Food I Must Say Is Actually Really Good Definitely Had The Taste of New York That I Have Been Missing! The Chicken And Lamb Over Rice I give it a 8.5/10 and the Fries and Nuggets I Give it a 8/10 and the CheeseSteak I give it a 8.5/10 only thing that I really needed extra with that CheeseSteak was some more cheese, so Definitely next time I'll definitely Ask For More of that so Should you. Overall, the experience was really good and friendly with the workers and everything. I'll definitely be going back and trying out the other options on the menu they have. As for the price of the Menu Options, it's Fairly Okay and Not too Over Priced. So If You Are looking for a good Halal Food Spot, Shah's is definitely the Place To Go and I Gurantee You Won't be disappointed.

A great spot for a quick grab and go meal without sacrificing the quality of the food. They offer completely customizable bowls, gyros, as well as burgers and steak&cheese sandwiches. I got both the combo platter and gyro. I did the works on both, which included rice, chicken and lamb, peppers and onions, black beans, salata, chickpeas, hummus, and their specialty white sauce (and green sauce on the bowl). The ingredients were fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Price is affordable — the bowl was loaded and only $11.99, while the gyro was $9.99. They paired perfectly with their homemade pakora chips, which are basically French fries but shaped as classic potato chips. Visited this Danbury location, but they have 100 locations worldwide!

Needed quick carryout that was reasonably healthy. Shah’s delivered. My husband and i got a lamb platter to share and it was Delicious! Server was helpful with our questions and portions were generous. If we lived locally we would be regulars.

Located next to Aldi where Boston Market used to be. We have gotten deliveries a few times but haven’t been inside. Deliveries always arrive warm and quickly. There is an all day delivery special, buy one get one free on Uber Eats. The food is very good. Their lamb and chicken are both very good over the rice. You are able to make slight modifications to your meal if you don’t want all the vegetables. The fries were surprisingly crispy. They season them with their special blends of seasoning. If you haven’t tried Halal, no better place to start.
